I just wanted to give you an update to what happened on the trip to Atlanta, GA.
First of all, it was a great change of scenery and the people in the south are genuinely polite. It was a nice change up from the rude people of the Midwest. Don't be offended when I say that, I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. HAHA.
Though the interview didn't get done with Bonafide Beatz, a lot of promo was done and was done so in an effective manner. A few DJ's have my new single, a lot of people have my business card and the radio station will be playing my new song soon! I met a celebrity DJ and didn't even know it! He played my new single in the 2nd biggest strip club in ATL and even gave me a shout out the next day live on Hot 107.9FM, the biggest hip hop radio station in ATL. Overall, the trip was great and I plan to get back out there sometime later in the Fall this year.
ATL is the place to be to promote yourself, the support system there is a complete 180 of the support system here in Milwaukee, WI. People actually want to hear you down there and everybody get's a fair shot. I can't wait to move there next year after I graduate!

Tutorials?
I've been thinking of uploading tutorials to help people better understand how to use certain tricks of the trade. These tutorials would consist of compression techniques, creating "pockets" for each individual track using equalization, how to properly set up a reverb and delay, etc.
If this is something that you guys would like to see, please let me know and comment below. If enough interest is generated, I will go ahead and do that. Thanks!

Just wanted to give a quick update.
The next interview I will be uploading is with Jim Reith. For those of you who aren't familiar with him, he is the owener/operator of Beat House Studio in Milwaukee, WI. He is also an audio engineer, producer and the head of the audio production program at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
I will be posting the interview tomorrow! Stay tuned!
Thanks,

Guides To Success
I'm sure that all artists know it is a very difficult task to make a name for themselves and to be remembered. 10,000 Facebook likes or 10,000 Twitter followers doesn't mean shit if the fans aren't staying current and watching your every move.
I know that this blog doesn't have a whole lot of followers just yet, but the few that are following, I urge you to post responses to this post. Tell us your opinions on how to make musicians more appealing and interesting to you as a listener! Besides dope music, what would motivate you to tell other people about an artist and show your friends and family their music?
This is valuable information that a lot of artists are dying to know!
Your input is greatly appreciated and on behalf of myself and all other local artists who are trying to cement their name in the game, I thank you!
